From senior class president to dejected social outcast, with just the flick of a match.

After accusations of torching her ex-boyfriend’s home are followed by the mysterious poisoning of her ex-best friend, seventeen-year-old Holland Briggs assumes her life is over. And it is. But not in the way she thinks.

As Holland learns the truth about her cursed fate—that she is descended from the Beast most have only ever heard of in fairytales—she unites with an unlikely ally, good-looking newcomer Mick Stevenson.

Mick knows more about Holland’s twisted history than she does, and enlightening as it is to learn about, his suggestion for a cure is unsettling at best. Holland must fall in love with Mick in order to break the spell, and save their future generations from repeating her cursed fate. Having sworn off love after the betrayals of her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend, this may be difficult to accomplish.

Complicating things further for Holland and Mick, time runs out, and Holland’s change begins way before schedule. With Holland quickly morphing into a dangerous mythical creature, Mick struggles to save her.

Should they fail, Holland will be lost to the beast inside her forever.

Jessa Russo believes in fairytales, ghosts, and Jake Ryan. She insists mimosas were created for Sundays, and that’s not up for discussion. She’s obsessed with the great city of New Orleans—where she’s collected too many beads to count, eventually married her sweetheart, and visited graveyards they don’t include on maps.

She’s loud, painfully honest, and passionate about living life to the fullest, because she’s seen how abruptly it can be taken away.

What began as a desire for reading and writing young adult paranormal has bled into stories of all kinds. From fantasy to pre-dystopian to erotic contemporary, Jessa’s stories always include romance, though she’s given up on pigeonholing her work into a category or genre box.

Jessa was born and raised in Southern California, and remains there to this day with her husband (a classic car fanatic), their daughter (a Tim Burton superfan), and a Great Dane who thinks he’s the same size as his Chihuahua sister.

ENTWINED, the final installment of Russo’s Ever Trilogy, will be released late 2014, as well as an erotic romance written under a pseudonym. Stay tuned!

Cover Reveal! River's Remorse by Charlotte Abel

I'm so excited to reveal the cover for River's Remorse, Book 2 of The Sanctuary Series by Charlotte Abel. I'm still hopeful to have a release date for you by May 1st. But, for now, here is the cover. We hope you like it!

If you have read River's Recruit and have been (im)patiently waiting for the sequel, here is a little teaser...

Jonathan closed Ephraimís journal then put it in the fireproof safe in the basement. He rubbed his eyes. He had no trouble seeing the tiny words, thanks to his enhanced vision, but it didnít help him decipher Ephraim's nearly illegible handwriting. It was pretty to look at but a bitch to read.
Thanks to Dadís genealogy addiction, he was used to reading that type of stylized writing. Heíd already studied the book with a magnifying glass, and was able to tell Jonathan what he needed to know. He knew not to eat or drink anything in wolf formóunless he wanted to be a wolf for the rest of his life. He also knew he needed to be careful about how much time he spent as a wolf and that he needed to stay in charge. Heíd figured that part out on his own the night he merged.
There was a lot of stuff about shifter history and lore, but that could wait. It was fascinating, but Jonathan needed to focus on the things that would keep him alive and human.
He hadnít shifted again since merging, and didnít want to, but apparently he didnít have a choice when the moon was full.
He locked the basement door, double checked the plywood sheets he'd nailed over the windows then stripped and removed his prothesis. He wrapped a towel around his waist then FaceTimed Dad. ìOkay, Iím ready.î

Cover Reveal! Sage by S.A. Huchton

Cover Reveal for Book 2...

Evolution: SAGE (the Evolution series, book 2)
New Adult Superhero Romance
Release date: May 6th, 2014
Synopsis:

"Devastated by her choices, Candace Bristol is on the brink of losing it all: her mind, her hope, everything she thought she was.

But from the ruins rises new purpose. An enemy has emerged and it will take everything to combat this new threat. Broken as she is, picking up the pieces and carrying on might be the hardest battle to win, but it's either fight, or lose what little she has left.

Amongst the wreckage, hope still burns. The flicker of a flame kindles something within her she thought was dead.

Love can break you.

So, too, can it bring you back to life."

And here’s a little sneak peek at the book…

Welcome home.
The emotions overwhelmed her as she slipped into the pool, sinking to the bottom.
Home.
Belonging.
Acceptance.
Comfort.
Candace didn’t know if she deserved to feel any of this, but there was no arguing with her connection to the water. It didn’t care about her mistakes. She had been missed.
She swam, moving back and forth through the water, soaking up more and more of the solitude and unexpected peace. Closing her eyes and floating, she turned inward, pushing past all of the hurt, all of the guilt, all of the loss, and drifted in a sea of calm. In the back of her mind, she knew this relief was only temporary. Eventually she would have to return to her other existence, the one where everyone wanted— expected— things from her.
Where she expected things from herself.
Jackson was right, of course. As much as she hated to admit it, his words were the slap in the face she needed. Once again, Candace was in his debt.
She frowned. There was a strange back and forth between them, an ever-shifting imbalance of helping one another. Funny, considering he was such a jerk otherwise. If he were consistently nice, maybe it wouldn’t sit with her so uncomfortably. As he ran more cold than hot with her, she never knew where she stood or what to expect. It was frustrating. Jackson Lawrence was not easily categorized or pinned down. Honestly, she couldn’t say with any amount of certainty whether or not she detested Jackson or kind of liked him, although the thought of liking someone as unlikable as him disturbed her on multiple levels. Did she have that much self-loathing that she’d attempt to spend more time with him?
She shivered. No. Definitely not. She more or less hated herself, but wasn’t about to hang around people who made her feel worse.
She took a breath and dove backwards, under the surface again. Life was too complicated. This was simpler. Maybe she could hole up here and no one would notice.
Swimming to the far end, she emerged at the side of the pool to catch her breath.
A crowd of people waited for her. She stared back at seven shocked faces.
“What?”
Jackson shook loose from the grasp of two armed soldiers. “Satisfied? She’s fine. Can I go now?”
“You’re still in trouble, Jackson. Shut the hell up.” True stepped to the edge and crouched down. “You scared us, sugar. What are you doing here?”
“Um… swimming?” Candace said. “Sorry. I didn’t know I wasn’t allowed.”
True shook her head and grinned. “Didn’t you hear the alarms? We’ve been looking for you for thirty minutes. Why didn’t you tell someone?”
Candace shot Jackson a sidelong look. “There was no one to tell.”
Amir Jones rubbed his face and sighed. “Yeah, we noticed.”
Dina was silent, but shifted nervously. Hector was also quiet, but looked more pissed than nervous.
“You all right, Candy Cane?” True asked. “If you want some company, I can suit up and—“
“No!” Candace interrupted. “God, no. Sorry, True, but all I really want is some peace and quiet without people constantly talking to me. No, I’m not okay. I probably never will be. But, holy hell, if I have to deal with one more day of everyone treating me like a broken doll I might actually consider drowning myself just to avoid it.”
True grimaced. “You know we’re all trying to help you, right?”
She sighed. “I know, I know. But, seriously. I can’t think with everyone hovering like this. I just… I can’t. I appreciate what you guys tried to do. Really.” She pushed back from the side, treading water. “No one else can fix me, True. I’ll figure it out.”
She dove under again, blocking out everything but her connection to the water. The next time she came up for air, they were gone.

Cover Reveal! #Absolution by Carlyle Labuschagne

Absolution
Confessions of a clone
is book one in The Broken Diaries series of novellas.
Can be read as a stand alone or as a companion novella to

Expected release date: October 2014
Genre: Upper YA Science Fiction

(Unedited)

So my secret is out you say? That would depend witch secret you are referring to. That I am a clone? Everyone knows that by now. Or that I have a dark disease pulsating through my veins, one I am quite fond of? Big deal. It’s exciting, never to have to hold back, unpredictability is a drug. We all crave it.  So what possible secret could I hold that is worth keeping? Imagine me giving you a sly smirk right now because I have not the misfortune of compassion that will cause me to spill my secrets. Without them there is no hand to be dealt.

Will my secret keep him close? Perhaps. But here is my confession, I have something better than secrecy. I have absolution. With me, he is not bound, it will be out of choice. With me, he never has to hold back. And I would love him for the good and especially in the bad. When I gave my word that I’d stop my tricks – I lied. That’s the thing with obsession. I does not care. It only wants, and it is so fixated on want, that it becomes need, and it shall have all it wants and needs.  And while I have no time to ponder who I am, clone – what a stupid word, I am already on my way to loving him forever. That’s how I play it, because I just don’t care.  Everyone knows I am nothing like my pathetic prime. That with me, it’s all bad intentions and violent, narcissistic adoration. That is not who I am. I am but one thing - in absolution.
